We are a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping families together and preventing children from entering the foster care system. Our mission is to wrap families in crisis with love, community, and resources, empowering parents to address the root causes of their challenges and build a better life for their children. We provide temporary loving homes for children while supporting parents as they work toward stability, offering them hope and a path to lasting change.

We have served more than 10,000 children since 2015. The greatest outcome is knowing we have helped to create better families, and our sincere hope is that we have laid the foundation for generations of successful families to come.

When the Better Together team realized 76% of our families came to us because of an economic hardship tied to unemployment, we knew we had to address the root of the problem and created Better Jobs to help. Thanks to a network of church partners across the United States, Better Jobs has helped more than 38,000 job seekers find employment. Before you think it is “just a job fair,” read on. Participants get everything they need to succeed – whatever it takes.
