Sayan Karmakar

I’m Sayan Karmakar, a Gold Microsoft Student Ambassador (India) and Azure Intern at Microsoft, passionate about empowering students through technology, community, and innovation. Currently pursuing my B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, I’ve organized numerous workshops, hackathons, and developer events focused on AI, Cloud Computing, and Open Source.

As one of the Top 4 students from India representing the country at GitHub Universe 2025 in San Francisco, I believe in building global connections through learning and collaboration. I also founded DevSync, an open-source community platform that helps students learn by building real-world solutions together.

My goal is to create meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that inspire students to innovate, grow, and become the next generation of tech leaders.
