Cambridge Retrofit Hub, community benefit society
Cambridge Retrofit Hub is a community benefit society, not-for-profit. We offer a One Stop Shop which looks after all the key stages of a home energy retrofit, from retrofit design through to project completion. We engage leading contractors and experienced retrofit specialists to offer you expert guidance through an often complex process. Our retrofit specialists aim to provide homeowners with peace of mind, quality assurance, and, when the retrofit is complete, the best home possible. We believe that the best way to achieve a comfortable, healthy and low-carbon home is through a whole house retrofit powered by a renewable energy heat pump. In an energy efficient home, insulation, air-tightness, advanced ventilation and a retrofit specialist designed heating system work perfectly together to deliver the best possible energy system for your home.
Cambridge Retrofit Hub also works in the community providing training and home energy advice to tenants and landlords as well as homeowners. We offer training and support to anyone who wants to become a home energy advisor and community energy champion. We are committed to enabling everyone to live in comfortable, healthy and energy efficient homes and reducing our load on planetary resources.
You can find us at our Repair Cafe with The Cambridge Room, in Cambridge's Grafton Centre, the first Saturday morning of the month where our qualified Home Energy Advisors can support you with initial advice.
