Yoga with Lena
I’m Lena Kalchenko — a yoga and movement teacher based in Deal, Kent. I work with people who are tired of “doing yoga properly” and are ready for a practice that feels genuinely supportive: steadiness, clarity, and a deeper sense of connection to themselves.
My sessions blend accessible yoga, mindful movement, and simple grounding practices that help you build awareness from the inside out — not chase shapes on the outside. You won’t find a performance vibe here. You’ll find options, permission, curiosity, and teaching that respects real bodies and real lives.
I host experiences ranging from slow, sensory resets and seasonal mini-retreats to workshops that explore yoga as a skill — the skill of paying attention, making choices, and moving with intention rather than habit. I also run teacher-focused workshops and mentorship spaces that support yoga teachers to step away from rigid rules and teach with more presence, confidence, and humanity.
My mission is to make yoga feel useful and honest again: less autopilot, less pressure, more agency — so you leave feeling grounded, resourced, and more at home in yourself.
