Philosofun - Jane Yates & Gina Parker (Mullarkey)

Gina Parker (Mullarkey) and Jane Yates have been practising and providing training in Philosophy for Children (P4C) for over 20 years. They both have a background in global, outdoor and environmental education in Cumbria and bring participative approaches to their P4C. After many years of providing philosophy days in schools, the last five years have seen them join forces to collaborate on the idea of a Philosofun. These are fun, engaging, non-competitive and active philosophy days based on a theme. They work with classes or whole school, and especially enjoy mixed age groups. During the Pandemic, they have brought their popular Philosofuns online for teachers and educators, with plans in the pipeline for a practical guide.
