Lucia Juarez, PhD. Life and Academic Coach

I am professionally certified life and academic coach, tutor and busy mom who knows the struggle of trying to balance a career and family.

Prior to coaching I worked for several architectural firms (in Tucuman, Barcelona, London and Oxford), I successfully obtain a Masters degree in heritage Conservation (Spain) and a PhD in architectural history (Edinburgh), for which I recently received an international mention.

Although I was successful in all my degrees, and was granted scholarships for all of them, I found it extremely difficult, especially when I had to combine postgraduate’s studies with parenting, plus living in another country. So I am fully aware of how doubting all these can be. I am very familiar with the pressure of thesis deadlines, family obligations and feelings frustrated and overwhelmed. I also had to do it in another language, what made me feel insecure most of the time. I really wished I had a coach to help me back them to take control of my thesis.

Now, I know there is a better way. My own struggles in doing one of my biggest achievements-my PhD thesis- were my motivation to became a life and academic coach. Now I am so grateful to help other to achieve their own academic goals in an easier, faster and fulfilment way.
