Ballymun is Brilliant

Ballymun is Brilliant supports the community to creatively explore how climate action relates to the daily lives of people in Ballymun.

During 2024 and 2025, we will be coming together to discuss issues such as:

• How we connect with each other, and with the natural world;
• our relationship with nature and green spaces in Ballymun;
• Themes that emerge from the community such as food, fashion and biodiversity
• Places where everyone feels welcome and safe;
• What makes Ballymun Brilliant!

We're going to look at the past, present and future experiences of people in Ballymun and with the help of artists we will use art and creativity to tell these stories.

Ballymun is Brilliant is funded by the Government’s Creative Climate Action Fund and is built on a partnership between three organisations with strong roots supporting the community in Ballymun: Axis Ballymun, Global Action Plan and the Rediscovery Centre. The project runs until the end of 2025.
