Fallbrook Land Conservancy
Fallbrook Land Conservancy (FLC) permanently protects valuable open space lands for native flora and fauna, and for community beautification and connection to nature. FLC protects more than 4,700 acres of open space throughout San Diego County. Our preserves support threatened and endangered species and provide recreational opportunities for the community through trails, guided walks, and special events. FLC has a large volunteer program that supports native habitat restoration, trail building and maintenance, and community outreach and education. Our Environmental Education program focuses on elementary aged youth and combines Next Generation Science Standards for California Public Schools with hands-on learning experiences, field trips, and engagement. FLC supports community beautification and climate resilience through the planting and maintaining of urban tree canopy, community based public arts and enhancement projects, and workshops and events aimed at educating the public.
