KarmaBank CIC started as a WhatsApp group in 2020 to encourage cooperation amongst relief organizations to better allocate food surplus, volunteer, and logistics support. Our concept was to make change by "banking our karma" into the community. We now design creative projects with influebntial partners & local communities that connect those who can help with those in need of help. Since we started, we have made 10,000+ support connections.

Karmabank Kitchen - Hastings

Every Thursday lunchtime, Karmabank's volunteers prepares and serves a nutritious three-course meal and a bag of shopping to local people. We prepare and cook the meals and fill shopping bags with quality surplus produce from local supermarkets and restaurants. We are passionate about reducing food waste, addressing food poverty, championing healthy eating and supporting the community.
