She is the founder of NC Accounting & Consulting Solutions, an accounting firm specializing in CFO services for small businesses, and the founder of the EverythingkieaProject, a non-profit educating youth on finances and cash flow. She is also a participant in the Annual Filing Season Program and is listed on the public directory of tax return preparers published by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). She, too, is an adjunct professor at Erie Community College, teaching accounting in the Business and Public Service Division. MWBE Certified in NYS & NYC.
Nakiea earned a BS in Accounting at D’Youville College, an MBA and a graduate certification in entrepreneurship at DeVry Keller School of Management, and a Level II financial management certification at the Department of Defense Comptroller Office.
Nakiea is a certified financial education instructor and a cash flow consultant who has facilitated hundreds of webinars, training, and workshops on forecasting, budgeting, resolving cash flow issues and optimizing systems for college and university campuses, organizations, and businesses across the country. . She was a former Senior Auditor for the Department of Defense. She has helped thousands of people meet their financial goals and understand their personal and professional cash flow. She effortlessly reaches her goal to “inspire, create, and educate” everyone she meets – near and far.
Nakiea is active in the Western New York Community. She is the Vice President of Programming and the liaison for the Scholarship, Programs Community Relations, and Leaders of Tomorrow Committees for the National Black MBA Association, Western New York Chapter. She is the treasurer of the National Association of Women’s Business Owners, Buffalo Niagara Chapter, Alleyway Theatre, and the VP of Finance for ATD Buffalo. She serves on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie, Niagara's treasurer committee, and the Southern Tier/Be-A-Friend Program.
