Namaste.
I’m Amanda York, a Level 3 Personal Trainer (2007), 300-hour Yoga Teacher (2011), Mindfulness Coach, NLP Practitioner, Wellness Mentor, presenter, and writer based in London. I primarily serve Canada Water SE16, London Bridge SE1, Canary Wharf E14, Wapping E14, and Crystal Palace SE19.
After experiencing burnout in my mid-30s, I left the corporate world to pursue my passion for holistic health. Since then, I have practiced yoga daily, weight trained regularly, and embraced seasonal activities in the UK. In my early 50s now, I continue to live an active and balanced lifestyle.
I have achieved notable milestones, including winning first place in a bikini competition, completing the London Marathon and Half Marathon, and reaching Level 7 in figure skating. I’ve also attended yoga and meditation retreats worldwide, including the International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh, India.
As a published author in Yoga Magazine, Om Yoga, and Natural Health, and having taught at the Om Yoga Show, Olympia, and Alexandra Palace, I’m dedicated to helping people reconnect with themselves through yoga and wellness practices. I’ve also shared my mindfulness and yoga tips on TV.
I offer in-person and online sessions tailored to foster well-being in body, mind, and spirit. My approach to health emphasizes the balance of exercise, rest, and nutrition to achieve vitality and resilience.
