Investment club as initial

In the academic year 2015-2016 students started the investment club to explore the financial world in more detail, while making connections and relations between students. Looking also at future possibilities in this industry.

Our Mission

Bring as much teachers, field experts and students, who are interested in economics, together. This results in opportunities for members to expand their network, whilst sharing and gaining new insights/knowledge about economics, especially investments.

Our core values

Our three core values are - connect, share, and grow. With this strategy we tent to focus increasing the social capital this group owns.

Firstly: connect, we try to plan two events every block to stay up-to-date to our environment and to engage with each other. Collaborating activities during the events stimulate new relationships and bands.

Secondly: share, with lectures, stock pitches, market updates, portfolio updates, discussions, and networking events we encourage our members to share their insights and knowledge with each other. Moreover, we try to stimulate them to dive deeper in economics than normal classes do, which eventually creates a better understanding.

Thirdly, grow, Growth within the community consists out of two main points. Firstly, improving skills and gaining insights from the educational perspective. Secondly and most important, expanding a network where new collaborations and connections arise.
