Kingsman Bark

We are Kingsman Bark, a group of neighbors working to improve the dog park at D Street and Tennessee Ave NE. We began organizing in January 2022 and have been informally speaking with other dog owners and neighbors about how to improve the shared public space for over a year.

Hill Hounds, our predecessor organization, partnered with the city to open the park 10 years ago. After that, they organized regular clean-up, maintenance, and simple improvement projects. Since then, the original organizers have moved away or no longer frequent the park. We are a new group of neighbors working with guidance from a few original organizers.
