Learning Technology Strategy

The Division of IT provides training to faculty, teaching assistants, and instructional support staff on the tools and pedagogical strategies that foster teaching and learning at the University of Maryland. A traditional, face-to-face and online series of workshops are offered cyclically through the Learning Technologies Institute. Training topics range from supporting courses in ELMS, developing content with tools such as Adobe Spark and Design Tools, developing student engagement activities with Blogs, Wikis, Turnitin, WebEx, and TurningPoint "clickers", and planning to develop courses for fully online, blended or flipped delivery models.
