Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) is one of the nation’s largest and most impactful community development organizations, committed to building strong and resilient communities. Since 1979, LISC has invested over $29.7 billion in projects that revitalize neighborhoods, expand economic opportunities, and provide essential resources in under-resourced communities. These investments have leveraged an additional $82 billion in development, fueling economic growth in urban and rural areas across nearly every state.

LISC operates through a network of 36 local offices, along with a wide-ranging rural program, each tailored to the unique needs of the regions they serve. In 2021, LISC relaunched LISC Puget Sound to address the region’s growing housing crisis and barriers to economic opportunity. Our team is dedicated to expanding affordable housing and economic opportunity for all Puget Sound residents.
