The Warhol Academy
As a pillar of the Pop District, an placemaking initiative of the Andy Warhol Museum, Warhol Academy connects communities of people to creative and tech economies through cohort-based learning, mentoring, real world experiences, and our broader network that starts in Pittsburgh's Northside neighborhood and reaches around the globe.
Participants in all of our programs gain access to professional tools and resources including mentors with decades of experience across a variety of creative and technology-based practices to help our learners reach their goals. We offer additional opportunities for hands-on learning through real world project work for the four world-class institutions in our network of Carnegie Museums as well as for the world-renowned clients in our broader network.
Our focus is to empower communities of people who are statistically underrepresented in the creative and technical industries including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and immigrants. By helping these communities of people achieve their goals as job seekers, business owners, and changemakers, we are building a robust and far-reaching network that will usher in the next generation of diverse creative and technical talent to grow a more inclusive Pittsburgh region.
